Get Involved

Volunteers are essential at all levels of Adams Harbor — from serving hot meals to Los Angelinos in need at
the Community Kitchen, to our annual Christmas event, to staffing at public awareness and fundraising events!
Learn how to get involved below! Opportunities are available for individuals and groups.

You can assist Adams Harbor in raising much needed funds by converting your next party into a fundraiser.
Contact our Vice-President, Danny Franco, for more information.

Adams Harbor is committed to continue servicing our local communities and beaches by hosting what we call
"Environmental Awareness Day." On this special day we gather as many volunteers as possible and clean the
streets of Los Angeles and our local beaches by picking up trash that otherwise harms our ecosystem.
Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Lydis Ascencio, for informatin on our future events.

Adams Harbor serves over 2,000 men, women and children each year during the Christmas holiday on a
special day marked with the arrival of Santa Claus on a fire engine, gifts for every individual that arrives,
a hot meal, music played by a wonderful DJ, face painting, medical services for adults, dental screenings
for children, and over 100 volunteers helping in the success of this magnificent event.

From delivering campaign materials to restaurants and supermarkets in your neighborhood to conducting
research interviews or distributing gift bags at events, volunteers are essential to the Adams Harbor year-round
public awareness, research and fundraising efforts. The organization keeps costs low by using our special
volunteers through-out the year for events, including staffing and invitation distribution.
